Sharon Tate born in 1943 was an American Actress most popular during the 1960's and became a Fashion Icon. Sharon Tate married the director Roman Polanski in 1968 and was then famously murdered with her unborn child by Charles Manson at the age of 26. 

Throwback Thursday: 1990's

1980's? As if!! 1990's fashion is back! It could be a good thing depending on how you look at. I mean if overalls and dark lipstick is your kind of thing then this 1990's trend is defiantly for you. I personally do like 1990's trend (sometimes) but I don't know that I could really pull off a grunge look. Only time will tell. With that being said here is a look back at the 1990's.

The 1960's was a unique decade for fashion because it was completely different from the 1940's and 1950's. In the 60's the bikini went mainstream, mini skirts were introduced to the world, and bell bottom jeans became a "thing" thanks to hippies. Due to these fashion inventions and innovations, the 1960's was a very important and historic decade in fashion as well as one of my favourites next to the 1940's.

Throwback Thursday: From Decades Past

I could not decide what I wanted to post today, and can't do a personal style diary post because I lent my camera to a friend (you know who you are I want it back). With it being Thursday I thought why not do a Throwback Thursday post! Then I had trouble deciding what or who this Throwback Thursday post should be on/about. To solve my troubles (and boredom) I chose to take an online quiz called "What Retro Decade Are You" (which you can take Here, I'm sure it is very accurate). My quiz results told me I belong in the 1940's stating "Classic, glamorous, and stylish, you are the most refined decade of them all. Never trashy, you define the word class with your charm and wit. Think waved hair, cigarette holders, and Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in 'Casablanca'" With that being said here are some of my favourite looks from the 1940's:
